PROJECTS
Being an assistant pitching coach, there weren't many projects to create, I basically just went off of what Coach Richardson had already planned. Although, there were some times where I took the initiative to create my own weeks worth of drills and conditioning and did some research online to put the plan together. There were also a couple times during my internship where I was a part of our baseball camps. At these camps I was essentially a coach and put my input on paper about what I liked or didn't like about each participant. Most of the time, if Coach Richardson had a question about the last few years here about how things were ran, I was the guy he would ask. We collaborated on a lot of things, whether or not something would work or if we had to do something player specific. It was a lot of give and take during this internship. I sometimes just sat back and admired his knowledge of the game and especially on pitching and in doing so I believe I have gained more knowledge for my future goals. A project that we kind of did together was for me, he took video of me pitching and showed me how to put the video together and how to cut certain things to make a thought out recruiting video.
The link below takes you to the camps portion of the website, the prospect camp was the camp I was a part of.
